Lisa and Ryan decided to have a destination wedding in Charleston. But just because their wedding was in the South does not mean they left their traditions up North. During their reception at The Mills House Hotel the Bride and her Ohio State alums danced to "Hang on Sloopy," the official theme song of the Ohio Buckeyes. To pay homage to her home state Lisa baked "buckeyes" for each guest. Named after the official nut of Ohio these sugary treats consist of peanut butter balls rolled in chocolate. The Bride and Groom handmade many other details of their reception including a cupcake stand to hold confections from Ashley Bakery and table settings with descriptions of important places to the couple. Lisa and Ryan's wedding was an elegant winter affair with the color palette of black and ivory. The Bride wore a blusher veil and a dress from Jasmine while her bridesmaids were dressed in black and carried white anemones from Tiger Lily Florist.
